Blackout

Stone/Castro and Insite Arts International

When the darkness from another world invades a cheap wedding on a boat, the guests sing like birds, cry like children, blackmail themselves and speak about survival like it’s a desperate joke. Crazed, hilarious, tragic and animalistic, they each try to escape into their imaginations and the end of the world.

Blackout premiered as part of the 2014 Adelaide Festival.
