Morag Cook

Morag Cook believes in theatre and story telling and just how important these are to our culture. She has a passion for her roles as an arts worker and facilitator and is dedicated to working with others in the development and sustainability of the performing arts in Australia.

Her work has been acclaimed by both the industry and the wider community due to its vibrancy, integrity and intellectual rigour.

An award winning Designer, she is currently the Associate Designer for the State Theatre Company of South Australia. (February to June 2008)

Morag has worked as a workshop facilitator both in Education and Community Arts. She was the recipient of an emerging Artists grant from Arts SA to attend the 2007 Quadrennial Designers festival in Prague (Scenofest).

Morag studied Theatre Design at AIT Arts (formerly Centre for Performing Arts, Adelaide) graduating in 2002. Since then, she has worked as a set and costume designer with some of Australia's most exciting directors and theatre companies.
